Highlighting the examples of personal excellence of character and the role of women in strengthening the family institution and community were among those touched upon during the 'Special Women's Lecture Programme in conjunction with the National Family Day 2026. With the theme, "Keluargaku Harapanku", the programme aims to strengthen understanding on the importance of the family institution from an Islamic perspective. The programme took place on 8th June morning at Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Kiarong.

The talk was delivered by Professor Doctor Sharifah Hayaati binti Syed Ismail, Professor at the Department of Siasah Syar'iyyah at the Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya. In attendance was Datin Norazimah binti Haji Ramlee, WIFE of the Minister Of Religious Affairs. The programme was organised by UNISSA through the Centre for Leadership and Lifelong Learning, in collaboration with the Muslimah Affairs Division of the Mosque Affairs Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs and Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Takmir Committee.
